Kalabari Born Actor And Politician, Hon. Mina Calls For Inclusion Of More Women in Rivers Politics
Nollywood actor, humanitarian and Politician, Hon Mina Horsfall Rtn, has appealed to the governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, to encourage involvement of women in the forthcoming local government and house of assembly elections in the state.
Hon. Mina who spoke over the phone following her view said the appeal to the governor is neccesitated by the need to restore peace to Rivers State.
Hon. Mina who is also the National Coordinator of United Nigerians for PDP (UN4PDP) said women are peaceful beings, good managers and drivers of development in the family and community, hence the need for the governor to build development partners in women across the state, to occupy key positions in government.
She expressed gratitude to God Almighty, the Chief of Staff to the governor, Rt Hon Edison Ehie and the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Ngozi Odu for always standing by Rivers Governor towards restructuring and restoring peace and progress to her dear state .
