AS OTHER ASPIRANTS PLEDGE THEIR TOTAL SUPPORTS FOR HIM AHEAD OF JULY 13TH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL ELECTION..

Earlier today the Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ughelli North Local Government Area comprises of the Delegates, Elders, Leaders, Party Executive and Stakeholders Elected Olorogun Barr. Jaro Movudu-Egbo Ksc as the Candidate of the Party for the forthcoming Local Government Election in Delta State..

The Party Primaries which took place at the Party secretariat in Ughelli was witnessed by officials of the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC, Security Agents and gentlemen of the Press.

The PDP returning officer from Asaba, Hon. Dr. Hope George JP while addressing the addressing party members at the ceremony, stated that the purpose of today’s gathering is to elect one person from among the numerous Aspirants contesting for the position of the Chairman, he stressed that the contest is an in-house matter as anyone who emerge today will be the flag bearer of the party and every other person will queue behind him or her in the election..
He then after asked if any of the Aspirant has anything to say.

Hon. Barr. Roland Oyibo, an Aspirant for the Chairmanship position from Agbarha Otor who spoke on behalf of other Aspirants, said that they have all unanimously agreed that Olorogun Barr. JAROMEDOGHENE OMOVUDU EGBO, the National Leader of the Hi-Voltage Movement who was a Special Adviser to the Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori on Transport should be the party flag bearer for the forthcoming Council Election in the Council Area and they have also agree to work, mobilize and support him.

Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc, thanked the Delegates, Party Executive, Leaders, Elders, Stakeholders and Co- contestants for the trust and confidence reposed on him to become the Next Council Chairman by the grace of God, he assured everyone of his unalloyed loyalty to the Party even as he seek the support of all party faithfuls for this onerous task ahead, he promised to work in line with the State Governor MORE AGENDA for the benefits of the Local Government and to the indigenes and occupants of the Local Government Area.

The highlight of the day was the official declaration of Olorogun Barr. Jaro Egbo Ksc JP as the winner and flag bearer of the Party in Ughelli North LGA by the Party Returning Officer, Hon. Dr. Hope George JP.
