Today marked a significant milestone as I had the esteemed privilege of hosting the 6th meeting of the National Council on Niger Delta (NCND) at the prestigious Unity Hall, located within the Government House in Asaba. This gathering was indeed a momentous occasion as it brought together key stakeholders from various sectors to discuss and deliberate on the vital theme of “Stimulating Strategies For Economic Growth and Development In the Niger Delta region.”
During the course of the meeting, I took the opportunity to address the imperative need for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to expedite the execution of all ongoing projects and revitalize any abandoned initiatives within the region. It is crucial for the sustainable development and prosperity of the Niger Delta community.
As the host, I conveyed my sincere wishes for a productive and successful deliberation, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in fostering economic growth, sustainable development, and overall progress in the Niger Delta region.
