Today in Nembe, Bayelsa State, I joined other Bayelsans and Nigerians for the funeral service of Her Royal Majesty Queen Gladys Inieka Daukoru, the late wife of King Edmund Daukoru, Amanyanabo of Nembe Kingdom.
Her Majesty lived a virtuous life of impact and service, promoting peace and unity all through her life. She was a symbol of love and kindness in her kingdom and an embodiment of hope and selflessness.
May God console His Majesty King Daukoru and the people of Nembe Kingdom and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their beloved queen and mother.
