As our dear country Nigeria marks her 64 years celebration, I join fellow Nigerians both at home and in diaspora to celebrate this historic day in our Nation’s history.
I extend my warmest felicitations and congratulations to each and every Nigerian in general and all Itsekiri’s world wide in particular.
As we mark this memorable and remarkable Independence day in our Nation’s history, let’s honour the selfless and brave sacrifices of our founding fathers who fought for this Independence we are celebrating today.
Thus, as we mark this day, let us embrace unity, peace and progress in all facets of our lives as Nigerians. Let’s promote unity, peace and progress in all we do as Nigerians.
Also, let’s take out time to do everything possible to advance growth and development in the country. It is an obvious reality that we are affected by multifarious socio-economic cum political challenges which is affecting us negatively as a people. In the midst of these challenges let’s forge ahead in harmony to make Nigeria great.
In conclusion, I implore Nigerians especially Itsekiri’s to be patriotic in everything we do as a people.
