In a display of unity and cooperation, Warri South People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leaders gathered today for a crucial meeting to discuss the forthcoming election. The well-attended meeting saw prominent political leaders, chairmanship aspirants, the chairmanship candidate and his vice, and all councilorship candidates in attendance.

Chief Joseph Otumara, leader of Warri South, stressed the importance of harmony among all candidates, urging them to extend an olive branch to their fellow contestants and connect with the electorate in their wards. He encouraged those who couldn’t make it this time to join hands with the party for a united victory, emphasizing that “tomorrow can be their turn.”

PDP State Vice Chairman, Sir Ada Val Arenyeka, reinforced this message, encouraging chairmanship aspirants to prioritize peace and unity, recognizing that only one person can hold the position. He urged the candidates to engage with their communities to ensure a peaceful and harmonious election process.

The meeting concluded on a high note, with a symbolic group photo featuring the LGA PDP Chairman, Sir Johnson Agbeyegbe, the incoming Chairman, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac and their councilors, signifying a united front for the betterment of Warri South.

This display of unity bodes well for a peaceful and successful election in Warri South, demonstrating that the warri is indeed in safe hands.
